Abstract: This paper discusses the psychological status and intervention strategies of sports vulnerable groups. Through the analysis of the mental health status of College Students' Sports vulnerable groups, it is found that sports vulnerable groups generally have physical and mental problems such as anxiety, shortness of breath, and rapid heartbeat, which have a significant impact on their social adaptation and quality of life. This paper proposes targeted psychological intervention strategies, including enhancing self-efficacy, improving social skills, and improving mental health. The research results are of great significance to promote the mental health and social integration of vulnerable groups in college sports.

Preface

There are a group of special groups of college students, who have congenital weakness in sports, such as obesity, various joint diseases or congenital diseases that can not exercise violently. Such students can only participate in health care classes or health care classes during their college years. Because of their physical health problems, they do not have the qualifications of guaranteeing research and appraising excellence, so they are psychologically different from ordinary normal children. Due to the limitations of physical conditions or social environment, they often doubt their sports ability and form negative self cognition. This inferiority complex not only affects their enthusiasm to participate in sports activities, but also may be generalized to other areas of life and reduce the overall level of self-esteem. At the same time, sports vulnerable groups often face social anxiety and avoidance behavior. They may avoid participating in collective sports activities for fear of being ridiculed or excluded, resulting in increased social isolation. Whether there are psychological health problems such as anxiety among these sports disadvantaged students, and how should we help and guide them to get rid of the psychological anxiety caused by physical problems? This topic is worth exploring by our college teachers. Through the methods of interview, data and questionnaire, this paper analyzes and studies the mental health status of sports vulnerable groups in Colleges and universities. In this way, targeted sports means and psychological assistance at the spiritual level will be carried out.

1.Research methods

1.1 Questionnaire survey method

The students were investigated by anonymous questionnaire by issuing self rating anxiety scale. Among them, 60 questionnaires were distributed and 60 were recovered, all of which were valid.

1.2 literature method

Through consulting the Chinese Journal Network, Wanfang database and the Database of Master and Doctor thesis experts and other Websites, more than 1000 literatures on Sports vulnerable groups and mental health and anxiety problems were consulted.

1.3 Expert interview method

Face to face interviews and consultations were conducted with professional teachers from a university student mental health center in Beijing to determine the research objects, research methods, and intervention methods.

1.4 Research object

In September, 2024, a questionnaire survey was conducted on the mental health of 60 freshmen of grade 2024 in a university in Beijing. There were 18 boys and 42 girls.

2. Research results and analysis

2.1 Investigation of tension and anxiety

According to the survey of students' tension and anxiety, the majority (82.35%) felt nervous and anxious to some extent, of which "no or little time" accounted for 31.37%, while "a small part of time" accounted for 50.98%. Relatively speaking, fewer people felt "quite a lot of time" and "most or all of the time", accounting for only 17.65%. This shows that although most people feel nervousat some time,it is not a long-term state. As shown in Figure 1.

In response to this phenomenon, some training activities on stress reduction and emotion management can be considered to help people better cope with stress. In addition, providing psychological counseling services to encourage people to share and discuss their feelings of tension may help reduce the occurrence of this situation. Regular mental health assessment can also help find and solve problems in time.

2.2 Investigation of psychological upset and panic

According to the survey of students' tension and anxiety, 87.25% of the respondents said that they felt less or only appeared in a small part of the time in the state of psychological upset or panic. This shows that most people can manage their emotions well and their mental health is relatively good. However, 12.75% of the respondents said they felt upset or frightened for a considerable amount or most of the time, which may point to some potential mental health problems.AsshowninFigure2.

For upset and panic problems, schools should carry out mental health education and publicity, improve the respondents' understanding of mental health, and help them identify and deal with emotional distress. Provide psychological counseling and support services, especially for those who say they have more time to feel upset or frightened, and help them find coping strategies. Organize mental health-related activities or workshops, enhance social support networks and self-efficacy awareness, promote the establishment of interpersonal relationships, and then reduce psychological pressure. Regularly conduct mental health assessment, timely find and solve potential mental problems, and ensure that individual mental health is continuously concerned and improved.

2.3 Self feeling weakness and fatigue

According to the data analysis, the proportion of students who choose "no or little time" and "a small part of time" is 38.24%, which is relatively large; The proportion of people who chose "quite a lot of time" was 19.61%; The proportion of people who choose "most or all of the time" is the least, which is 3.92%. On the whole, most people (6.48%) felt weak and tired relatively lightly, but a considerable number of people (3.52%) had this feeling for a long time. As shown in Figure 3.

For people with severe feeling of weakness and fatigue who choose "quite a lot of time" and "most or all of the time", it is recommended to further understand the reasons, such as whether there are problems such as excessive work pressure, poor living habits, lack of exercise, and provide corresponding solutions, such as reasonably arranging work and rest time, improving living habits, increasing exercise, etc. Relevant health education activities can be carried out to improve people's awareness of maintaining a healthy lifestyle, so as to reduce the feeling of weakness and fatigue.

2.4 Dizziness investigation

A survey was conducted on the students' tension and anxiety. The analysis conclusion: most of them (1.57%) said that they had no or very little time to suffer from dizziness. The proportion of people who had such distress in a small part of the time was 23.53%, the proportion of people who had such distress in a considerable number of time was 2.94%, and the proportion of people who had such distress in most or all of the time was 1.96%. Generally speaking, most people suffer from dizziness relatively lightly, but there are still a certain proportion of people who suffer

From this problem for more or all of the time. As showFigure 4 .

For those who suffer from dizziness for a considerable amount of time, most or all of the time, further medical examination is recommended to determine the cause of dizziness and take corresponding treatment measures. At the same time, it can also strengthen health education for the public and improve people's awareness of dizziness and prevention awareness. In view of this situation, it is suggested to take the following measures: Health Education: for a small number of participants who feel faint, carry out health education, popularize the causes of fainting and preventive measures, and help them identify potential risks. Regular physical examination: all participants are encouraged to have regular physical examination, especially for those who have fainted, so as to find potential health problems as soon as possible. Psychological support: for a high proportion of people who feel faint, provide psychological counseling and support to help them relieve anxiety and pressure and improve their physical condition. Improve the environment: in the working and living environment, increase safety measures to reduce the risk of fainting caused by environmental factors, such as improving ventilation and lighting conditions.

2.5 Investigation of students' heartbeat

According to whether students' heartbeat is too fast in their daily life, we investigated the heartbeat of students. The analysis conclusion: according to the data analysis, 57.84% of the respondents said that they "have no or little time" to feel their heartbeat accelerating, showing a relatively low heartbeat frequency experience. Secondly, 34.31% of the respondents said that they felt heartbeat acceleration "only in a small part of the time", which indicates that the situation of heartbeat acceleration still exists in certain situations. However, only a few people (5.88% and 1.96%) thought that they felt their heartbeat accelerated "quite a lot of time" or "most or all of the time".As shown in Figure 5.

From these data, the vast majority of respondents' heart rate acceleration experience is not frequent, which may be related to their lifestyle, mental state or physical health status. In order to further improve the mental health and physical status of the respondents, the following measures are recommended: mental health education: provide mental health education to help the respondents understand and manage stress and reduce the situation of rapid heartbeat. Physical exercise: encourage respondents to participate in appropriate physical exercise to enhance cardiopulmonary function, so as to improve heart rate. Relaxation techniques: promote relaxation techniques and meditation exercises to help respondents effectively regulate their emotions and reduce the frequency of heart beat acceleration in tense times. Regular health examination: it is suggested that the respondents should have regular physical examination so as to find potential health problems as soon as possible and take co2.6 investigation of respiratory conditions

In order to know whether students will have difficulty breathing in daily life, the survey was conducted on students. According to the results of the data table, most respondents (45.1%) said that it was easy to breathe in and out most or all of the time, indicating that this group was highly satisfied with the comfort of breathing. However, 27.45% of the respondents said they did not feel relaxed at all or very little time, and the proportion of respondents who spent a small part of the time and quite a lot of time was relatively low, 8.82% and 18.63% respectively. This shows that although the overall satisfaction is high, some people still have some problems in breathing.

Suggestions for improvement: for the respondents who feel dyspnea, they can consider carrying out respiratory health education and publicity, providing relevant health guidance and support, and helping them improve their respiratory status. At the same time, more in-depth investigation can be conducted to understand the specific causes of their discomfort, so as to formulate more targeted improvement measures.

3. Conclusions and Suggestions

3.1 Conclusion

3.1.1 The overall mental health status of sports vulnerable groups is in a benign state, and a small number of them have physical and mental problems such as tension, anxiety, and rapid breathing, which have a significant impact on their social adaptation and quality of life.

3.1.2 In terms of physiology, 30.39% of the people felt uneasy in a small part of the time; In the aspect of physiology, 57.84% of the people felt their heartbeat accelerated in a small part of time; In terms of emotional state, more than half of the participants still have some anxiety when facing the future.

3.1.3 Most participants showed some relief in their feelings of anxiety and tension, but a considerable proportion of them still experienced varying degrees of psychological stress and physical discomfort in their daily life, especially in terms of sleep and emotion.

3.2 Suggestions

College sports vulnerable groups generally have psychological problems such as tachycardia and shortness of breath, which have a significant impact on their social adaptation and quality of life. To solve these problems, this paper puts forward some intervention strategies, such as enhancing self-efficacy, improving social skills, and improving mental health. Future research should further explore personalized intervention programs for different types of sports vulnerable groups, and evaluate the long-term intervention effect. At the same time, the construction of school support system should be strengthened to create a more inclusive and friendly environment for sports vulnerable groups to participate in sports. Through multiple efforts, we can effectively improve the psychological status of sports vulnerable groups, promote their all-round development and better integrate into society.nal stability.
